Rubber Stamped Pattern Libary

Introduction
The foundation for many a great rubber stamping project is stamping out a good pattern. Here are some sample patterns made from stamps from Carolyn's Stamp Store, with basic directions on how to duplicate them.
Pattern 1
All rubber stamps used in this pattern are from the set Mod Designs Large.
- Stamp one design element with Metallic Gold Lumiere onto ochre yellow card stock. Let dry.
- With a flat brush, apply dark terra cotta color wash made of Dy-Na-Flow mixed with acrylic paint to cardstock. Let dry.
- Stamp the following colors of Colorbox Crafter's Pigment Ink with various design elements: Stucco, Olive, Chestnut and Cocoa. Allow to dry naturally or dry by heat setting.
- Stamp final design element in white by applying acrylic paint to the stamp with a foam brush.
Pattern 2
All rubber stamps used in this pattern are from the set Mod Designs Large.
- Stamp one design element with Metallic Gold Lumiere onto parchment card stock. Let dry.
- With a flat brush, apply a wash of white Dy-Na-Flow. Let dry.
- Stamp the following colors of Colorbox Crafter's Pigment Ink with various design elements: Stucco, Ochre, Olive and Chestnut. Allow to dry naturally or dry by heat setting.
Pattern 3
All rubber stamps used in this pattern are from the set Mod Designs Large.
- Mix up some mediium blue-green metallic acrylic paint and apply to a stamp with a foam brush. Stamp onto light tan textured card stock.
- Mix up a slightly lighter batch of the metallic paint color and stamp another design element. Let dry.
- Apply a thin wash of the color over all. Let dry.
- Stamp the following colors of Colorbox Crafter's Pigment Ink with various design elements: Olive and Chestut. Allow to dry naturally or dry by heat setting.
- Stamp final design element in white by applying acrylic paint to the stamp with a foam brush.
Pattern 4
All rubber stamps used in this pattern are from the set Mod Designs Large. The paint drips at the lower right were an accident, but I kind of like them - perhaps I should have done more!
- Stamp one design element with Metallic Gold Lumiere onto light avocado green card stock. Let dry.
- Stamp another design element with pearlescent white acrylic paint. Let dry.
- Stamp the following colors of Colorbox Crafter's Pigment Ink with various design elements: Stucco, Olive and Chestnut. Allow to dry naturally or dry by heat setting.
- Stamp final two design elements in white by applying acrylic paint to the stamp with a foam brush.
Pattern 5
- With the solid portion of the stamp set Flower Petals Set, stamp MicaMagic Antique Gold onto parchment card stock.
- Take the patterned portion of the same stamp set, and rotating the stamp from it's orginal orientation, stamp over the gold with Colorbox Crafter's Pigment Ink color Stucco.
- With the stamp Retro Flower Head 2, stamp centers for the flowers with with Colorbox Crafter's Pigment Ink color Merlot.
- Allow Crafter's colors to dry naturally or dry by heat setting.
Pattern 6
- Create a resist pattern by stamping the solid portion of Retro Pattern Maker in Top Boss Watermark Ink on glossy white paper.
- Allow to dry completely or speed up drying by heat setting.
- Sponge watered down Ancient Page dye-based ink in the following colors: Agean Blue, Amethyst, Lavender, Lime and Neptune.
- Insert a Large Circle Moldable Black Foam tip into the end of a ColorBox Stylus Handle.
- Heat the foam tip according to the instructions on the package and press down onto the line portion of the rubber stamp Retro Pattern Maker.
- Randomly stamp Neptune ink with the molded tip over the surface.
- Attach the small circle tip from the Terrific Tool & Tips set to the end of the handle. Ink it with Lime Crafter's ink, and stamp several times randomly. Heat set Crafter's ink.
- Stamp the line portion of Retro Pattern Maker several times in Ancient Page Amethyst.
Pattern 7
- Create a resist pattern by stamping the solid portion of Retro Pattern Maker in Top Boss Watermark Ink onto mauve cardstock.
- Allow to dry completely or speed up drying by heat setting.
- Sponge watered down Ancient Page dye-based ink in the following colors: Agean Blue, Lavender and Neptune.
- Wrap a couple of rubber bands from the Memory Essentials Bits and Pieces set around the clear part of the Memory Essentials Get Rollin’ stamping wheel.
- Roll the wheel into Frost White Crafter's ink and roll stripes across the paper, leaving some space in between.
- Attach the small circle tip from the Terrific Tool & Tips set to the end of the handle. Ink it with Lime Crafter's ink, and stamp several times randomly.
- Randomly stamp the larger strip from Rounded Squares and Rectangles Borders in Crafter's Lilac ink. Heat set the Crafter's ink.
- Ink up the line portion of Retro Pattern Maker with Ancient Page Amethyst. Stamp onto Blank Round Corner Square, then stamp on the cardstock. Clean off Blank Round Corner Square and repeat several times at random places on the cardstock.
- With one of the small tri-lobed shapes from Mod Designs Large, stamp several times in Ancient Page Lavender.
- Water down a little bit of the Lavender ink, and flick some dots of color with a brush.
- Stamp one of the square stamps from Wavy Lines in Crafter's Frost white, partially overlapping each Lime circle.
- Allow final Crafter's color to dry naturally or dry by heat setting.
Pattern 8
- Start with light turquoise paper. Randomly stamp the definition of ocean portion of Sea Life in Crafter's Frost White pigment ink.
- Clean the stamp and reink with Crafter's Ochre pigment ink and stamp several times randomly.
- Using Crafter's Antique Pewter pigment ink, stamp words from Sea Life.
- Stamp various animals from Sea Life with Crafter's Black pigment ink.
- Insert a rectanglular Moldable Black Foam tip into the end of a ColorBox Stylus Handle.
- Heat the foam tip according to the instructions on the package and press down onto definition of ocean portion of Sea Life.
- Stamp with ColorBox MicaMagic Pigment Ink Pad – Bronze.
- Allow Crafter's ink to dry naturally or dry by heat setting.
