Pigment Ink
Pigment inks contain solid color particles that are stable, insoluble and non-reactive with other materials. They are bonded to the project surface. Pigment inks dry slowly, making them ideal for embossing. They work best on absorbent papers, but can be embossed and heat set on coated, glossy, and non-absorbent papers.

Dye Ink
Dye inks are known for convenience and bright colors when everyday stamping is the focus. They dry quickly on absorbent surfaces, including glossy or coated papers. The Ancient Page permanent dye inkpads are also useful for archival purposes and various craft projects. Dye inks are typically translucent and can achieve many "layered" effects, where contrasting subtle and brilliant colors are desired.

For best results, always test on scrap material. Heat set for 1-2 minutes, cool for 5-10 minutes. Removable option plates allow you to clean and reink easily.
